Led by musician and creative director Ryan Harkrider, our team brings bands, ceremony musicians, strings, DJs, sound, lighting, destination logistics, photography, and film together under one experienced creative lead.

Featured in Vogue Weddings
Top Down Creative and The Nightowls were part of a Vogue Weddings-featured destination celebration in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, working alongside Kat Ferguson and Little Creek Events.
The weekend moved from sunset vows and dinner on the beach to fireworks, fire dancers, and a full-scale dance party with The Nightowls, continuing a trusted creative relationship with Little Creek Events across multiple destination weddings.
Whitefish, Montana
One team across an entire destination celebration.
Top Down Creative brought an Austin-based team of musicians, artists, production specialists, and photographers to Whitefish for a wedding designed as one connected experience.
From ceremony music and cocktail-hour ensembles to a roaming brass parade, full reception band, DJ, sound, travel, and production, each part of the celebration was built to flow naturally into the next. We worked alongside the planning and venue teams to make a complex destination event feel effortless for the couple and their guests.

The strongest weddings do not wait until the reception to find their rhythm. We shape the music across ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, first dances, live reception, and afterparty, then match the talent and production to each setting.
For this custom wedding production, Top Down paired Parliament Strings and Spanish guitar with an expanded 13-piece Nightowls lineup. The strings were integrated directly into the band’s arrangements, allowing the evening to evolve as one cohesive performance rather than a series of separate acts.

Top Down Creative is led by Ryan Harkrider, a working musician, bandleader, producer, and creative director. That perspective shapes every wedding: the music has to feel alive, the production has to hold up under pressure, and every decision has to serve the people in the room.
Ryan remains directly involved from the first conversation through the final plan, working with couples, families, planners, and venues to make ambitious ideas feel clear and executable.
